Western World's Electronic Music

Dance hall is a style of reggae from Jamaica that is becoming increasingly blended into hip hop and other popular styles, also called "Bashment" or "Raggamuffin". It developed in the early 1980's.

It is another style that is heavily electronic. There is a lot of sampling by the DJ, as well as singing, rapping and toasting.

When drumming, be careful not to overplay. Play repetitive loops - The beat what makes them dance. Play with authority, confidence, and consistancy.
